We will be holding auditions in person, for our 2022-2023 Jr and Sr Triple Threat programs, on April 30th from 2:00-4:00pm and June 11th from 10:00-12:00pm. Those interested in auditioning for the program should email the centre at info@movingart.ca. For the audition, students should be prepared to sing two contrasting musical theatre pieces, one uptempo and one ballad. Students should bring sheet music, in a 3-ring binder. We will have our accompanist present. As a second choice, students may sing with a backing track (please no vocals on the track).
Jr TTP is open to students ages 10-13 and Sr is open to ages 14-18. Our Triple Threat Program provides the opportunity for emerging performers to immerse themselves in a professional theatre setting, honing their musical theatre skills and learning the disciplines that will make them well-rounded performers.
