Triple Threat Program
Moving Art’s Triple Threat Program provides the opportunity for dedicated young performers to immerse themselves in a professional theatre setting, honing their musical theatre skills and learning the disciplines that will make them well rounded Triple Threat performers. This program culminates in a fully produced musical production reaching far beyond the family-and-friends audience.
Moving Art was excited to offer the first ‘Triple Threat’ program in 2009 that culminated with a fully produced musical production of Once on this Island, reaching far beyond the family and friends audience!
In our second Triple Threat year of 2010, Moving Art expanded to offer both a Junior and Senior program. The Junior students culminated with the fully produced production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr., while the Senior students culminated with the lavish production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. We have continued into 2017 with many fantastic shows.
The Triple Threat Program provides the opportunity for dedicated performers to immerse themselves in a professional theatre setting, honing their musical theatre skills and learning the disciplines that will make them well rounded triple threat performers.
The Junior Triple Threat Program (ages 10-13) classes run each Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm, while the Senior Triple Threat Program (ages 14-18) classes run each Saturday from 2:00pm-5:00pm. This program is an intense study of acting, vocal work and dance. Instructors, and Guest speakers, will guide students through auditioning techniques, and repertoire to connect and expose students to the performing industry.
During the course, students will be speaking with casting directors, agents, other performers in the business, as well as receiving a photo shoot for headshots and resume writing workshop too. For more information please contact us. **This program is by audition only and auditions are held every June.**
