At Moving Art, we offer private voice lessons to students age 9 and up. Each 30 minute lesson starts with a vocal warm up focusing on good breath support and technique. Students will then work on their repertoire. Every year voice students have the opportunity to participate in the Music Festivals, special events, as well as a year-end recital!  We also prepare students for school or theatre auditions and the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations. An emphasis on Music Theory and performance helps to create well-rounded singers. Vocal lessons are recommended for those with an interest in Moving Art’s Triple Threat Program or Musical Theatre Classes. Taking vocal lessons can help students build confidence, stage presence and excellent public speaking skills. 

At Moving Art, we offer private piano lessons to students age 5 and up. During each 30 minute lesson, students work on proper posture and technique, music theory and a varied repertoire encompassing different genres according to the individual’s interests and ability. Each year, piano students have the opportunity to participate in Music Festivals, special events, as well as a year-end recital! We also prepare students for the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations. Piano lessons are a great entry point for young children looking to explore the world of music. 

At Moving Art, we offer private guitar lessons to students age 9 and up. During each 30 minute lesson, Students learn how to read music one string at a time. We work on chords and chord shapes, rhythm playing, music theory and last but not least, repertoire so that students can play full songs from start to finish. Lesson content is based on each individual student’s personal goals.
